Physician assistants (PAs) do routine and emergency tasks under the supervision of a doctor. They are trained to deal with many medical emergencies and perform a wide range of duties including:  performing physical examinations, ordering lab tests, prescribing medications, setting simple fractures, and assisting in surgery.  In areas where doctors are in short supply, PA’s may be the only providers of health care. Pre-Medicine

Medical doctors maintain or restore human health through the practice of medicine. He or she will diagnose and treat human disease, ailments, injuries, pain or other conditions. A doctor can be found in several settings, including public health organizations, teaching facilities, private practices, group practices and hospitals. Pre-Physical Therapist

Physical Therapists help injured or ill people improve their movement and manage their pain. These therapists are often an important part of the rehabilitation, treatment, and prevention of patients with chronic conditions, illnesses, or injuries.  Physical therapists typically work in private offices and clinics, hospitals, and nursing homes. Pre-Chiropractic

A chiropractor is a health care professional focused on the diagnosis and treatment neuromuscular disorders, with an emphasis on treatment through manual adjustment and/or manipulation of the spine.  Most chiropractors seek to reduce pain and improve the functionality of patients as well as to educate them on how they can account for their own health via exercise, ergonomics and other therapies to treat back pain.
