The department of Architectural Studies/CAD believes that the architecture program at Vincennes University can be the touchstone to your future.  The faculty are committed to providing students with an experience and framework that will open doors for challenging professional opportunities.

Our program is an intensive two-year education leading to an Associates of Science (A.S.) degree accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.  It is the only program in the State of Indiana which transfers directly into an accredited School of Architecture.

The studio is the foundation of the program as it provides a social and interactive arena for the architecture student.  These studios are the center of all teaching, activity and learning in our program.  Students are taught to prepare construction documents, presentation drawings, and models of various structures during studio labs. 

The student-to-faculty ratio is about 10:1 which guarantees that each student receives the individual attention they need to succeed.  Students are given 24/7 access to the studios ensuring that they have adequate time to dedicate to their projects.
